Job Preview: (English)

Working as part of the Pembrokeshire Leisure Management Team, you will be responsible for swimming development across the county, covering a wide range of swimming activities.

Your role will be to implement and deliver the Pembrokeshire County Aquatic Plan, coaching, monitoring and mentoring swimmers and swimming coaches. You will develop training programmes and pathways for elite swimmers in consultation with Swim Wales and club coaches, in order to maximise their potential. You will play a role in advising the schools swimming & the learn to swim programmes and help develop swimming initiatives run by Pembrokeshire Leisure for the benefit of the community. In addition you will be expected to provide technical knowledge and advice on compliance with health and safety requirements for swimming activities in general.

You will be qualified to ASA Level 3 (or working towards) and hold a relevant swimming teaching (ASA level 2 teacher) qualification, and have proven experience of planning, leading, and coordinating swimming training programmes. Proven experience of coaching swimmers, at all levels is essential.

Fe fydd gennych gymhwyster Lefel 3 ASA (neun gweithio tuag at hynny) a bydd gennych gymhwyster hyfforddi nofio perthnasol (athro Lefel 2 ASA), ynghyd phrofiad profedig o gynllunio, arwain, a chydlynu rhaglenni hyfforddiant nofio. Mae profiad profedig o hyfforddi nofwyr ar bob lefel yn hanfodol.
